Anne Marie Brian was raised a Catholic and went to a convent school, from which she was expelled at the age of 14, for writing a letter to New Musical Express in which she described fourth year as “hell”. She dropped acid at 15, rode motorbikes at 17, and liked to party! She was diagnosed as Bipolar at the age of 30. Now 50, she lives a quiet life with her partner and their fifteen year old son.
